Mika lives and works in Australia, with roots in Japan. Before turning to jewellery, she worked as a graphic designer – her sense for clear shapes and balanced proportions can be felt in every piece.
Her jewellery line began intuitively: Mika first created pieces for her mother. It soon became apparent that many traditional jewellery designs are either too heavy or complicated to handle in everyday life. This sparked the idea to explore new materials. Today, Mika works with a soft, non-toxic foam that is incredibly lightweight while still creating a strong visual presence. Combined with magnetic closures, her pieces are effortless to wear and remove – ideal for daily use.
The result is jewellery that merges statement and comfort.
Minimalist outfits gain an architectural edge through the clean silhouettes. Maximalist looks can play with volume and texture.
