It's been a few decades since the German doctor Klaus Märtens had the idea to develop a comfortable and safe boot. He probably didn't realize the significance his design would have on fashion, design and zeitgeist to this day. The classic black Dr. Martens shoe is distinguished by three characteristic features: an air-filled rubber sole (the so-called »Air-Wair«), yellow sole stitching and robust leather as the upper material. Meanwhile, the iconic shoe label is known all over the world and the range has been expanded by countless versions. 



We think: These trendy shoes are a must-have for the cold season, because the robust leather and the chunky sole protect our feet perfectly from cold and rain. That's exactly why we're honored to present the exclusive styles by the internationally praised Dr. Martens x Rick Owens collaboration in our online store. The first edition of the fall/winter collection was sold out in no time. But that doesn't matter, because since December 2, 2022, two new models are available with us:

The signature Rick Owens pentagram lacing immediately catches the eye and makes this boot a real statement piece. A side zipper on the inside and the signature logo heel tab make it easy to put on, so nothing stands in the way of an exceptional look. Another detail is the extra-long tongue and classic yellow Dr. Martens stitching. The semi-matte textured finish and sturdy Dr. Martens Quad sole are familiar elements of the British footwear brand, which has long enjoyed cult status around the world. According to Dr. Martens, the 5.08 cm Quad sole is designed to provide stability and is suitable for anyone who isn't afraid to stand out.

Quad-sole calf length boot with extra long lacing

 

The calf-high design of this boot not only exudes a rock 'n' roll character, no, it also ensures that you have a firm grip and warm feet all day long. The shoe has a zipper on the outside, which together with the practical heel tab makes putting it on and taking it off a real breeze. This means you don't have to thread the laces through the hook eyelets every day and really save time when styling these shoes. The extra-long laces provide the typical Rick Owens signature and, along with the extra-long tongue, are the most important style elements of this designer collaboration.
