PARTS OF FOUR Bracelets
PARTS OF FOUR bracelets are designed by Evan Sugerman, an American-born artist from Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2011, the label produces jewellery, objects, furniture and installations. With a background in sculptural processes, Parts of Four can be seen as an interface between rituals and memories: human, animal, geological, stellar and more. As a design form, the bracelets, especially the Sistema series, express the core principle of P/4: modularity. The 'body' and the 'insert' are separate parts connected by pins. This results in endless possibilities for combining materials and shapes.
The oval parts of the bracelets are measured from the diameter of the wrist. There should be some wiggle room, so the size should be slightly larger than the actual wrist circumference.
